Overnight closures scheduled in August for Macdonald Bridge

The Angus L. Macdonald Bridge will be closed overnight to vehicles only from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on the following dates:

• August 10-12
• August 17-19
• August 24-26
• August 31 to September 2

These twelve overnight closures are required to safely complete the replacement of the remaining Lane Control Sign gantries and associated infrastructure, a project that began in June, while advancing other critical bridge maintenance activities.

The bridge will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists during each overnight closure.

Motorists are encouraged to use the A. Murray MacKay Bridge or other alternate routes and allow extra travel time during all scheduled closures.
