Free bridge crossings on Christmas Day
December 23, 2024
Halifax Harbour Bridges is spreading holiday cheer once again by making travel across the harbour a little easier this Christmas.
For 24 hours on December 25, the toll gates on the Angus L. Macdonald and A. Murray MacKay bridges will be raised, allowing motorists to cross free of charge.
“This annual tradition is our way to thank our customers and employees and to help families and friends connect during this day,” says HHB CEO Tony Wright. “From all of us at HHB, we wish you the best of the festive season.”
The toll-free period begins at 12:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 25.
Happy Holidays from Halifax Harbour Bridges.
