Macdonald Bridge closes to vehicles for part of this weekend, beginning Aug. 16.

The Angus L. Macdonald Bridge will close to all vehicles this weekend, beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, August 16.

The bridge is scheduled to reopen at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, August 18.

The pedestrian walkway and bicycle lane will remain open throughout the weekend.

The closure will allow several maintenance projects to be carried out. A closure for further maintenance on the Macdonald Bridge may be required during the weekend beginning Sept. 13. Details will be announced closer to that time.
