June 21-24 weekend closure of MacKay postponed due to weather forecast

This weekend’s planned closure of the A. Murray MacKay Bridge for maintenance and inspection work, has been postponed due to rain in the forecast.

Key Points:

• The MacKay Bridge will remain open this weekend, June 21-24.
• The next full closure is scheduled for Friday, July 5 at 7 p.m. – Monday, July 8 at 5:30 a.m.

There is no planned closure of the bridge during the July 1^st long weekend.

Projects expected to be carried out on the MacKay this weekend will be rescheduled to a later time. We will announce the date of that closure as soon as it is determined.
